How to choose an artificial tree size for your ceiling height

Measure the ceiling and leave at least half a metre above the top of the tree. Under a 3 m ceiling, a tree of about 230 cm has room to breathe.

How to choose an artificial tree size for your ceiling height

How much space should stay above the tree?

As a practical rule, keep at least half a metre between the top of the tree and the ceiling. The tree then does not look squeezed, and light reaches it from above.

Which size suits which ceiling?

  • 2.8 to 3 m ceiling: a tree up to about 230 cm.
  • 3.2 m ceiling: a tree of about 240 cm.
  • 4 m ceiling or higher: a tree of 300 cm or more, especially in double-height entrances.
  • Table or console: a small bonsai of about 60 cm.

Does the height include the planter?

The height on each page is the whole tree with the planter shown in its photo. If you will use a different planter, allow for the difference before you order.

How can I check the size before ordering?

Every tree page has a button that compares its height with a person 172 cm tall. You can also send a photo of the space and the ceiling height to info@aroria.shop or on Instagram, and we will confirm the size before you order.
